When the Nightingale Sings is a concert with commentary of vocal and piano works by Enrique Granados, in celebration of his Centenary and 150th Anniversary.
Performers: Anna Bartos, soprano; Eric Sedgwick, piano and Jesse Han, flute.
The program includes vocal selections from La coleccion de tonadillas and La maja y el ruisenor, an aria from the opera, Goyescas, arranged by A. Bartos, as well as Canciones amatorias and songs in Catalan. Piano Solos: Mazurka and Epilogo from Granados' Escenas romanticas. Flute Solos: Selections from Les folies d'espagne by Marin Marais.
